Cedar Rock is a non-denominational, evangelical church.

Ours is a a blended worship style with a contemporary worship service at 9 am Sundays, a more traditional worship service at 11 am and a 6 pm where either or both styles might be expressed on any given Sunday..

We are part of the free-worship tradition and our services may contain elements of what is considered traditional High Church all the way to what is considered traditional Pentecostal.

Below is a brief statement of the beliefs that guide us.

"We believe in one God who has made himself known to us as Creator, Savior and Sustainer.

We believe Jesus Christ is "the best picture of God ever took."  While on earth, he was Emmanuel, God with us.  Having taken on human form and nature, he gave us an example of what godliness looks like, demonstrated his great love for us in his death, was resurrected, has ascended back into heaven where he waits to come claim his church.  Life, abundant and eternal, begins when one freely enters a relationship with him through confession of sin and acceptance of all he came to be for us.  We believe in the public declaration of that new relationship through believer's baptism.

We believe in a universal church that shows itself in local expressions.  We believe the church is the gathered body of those who have entered a faith relationship with Jesus Christ as a result of personal choice and have declared the same in the picture of baptism.  We believe our responsibility and privilege to God can be summed up in the words Worship, Fellowship and Discipleship.

We believe in the authority of the Bible as a God-given guide for daily Christian living.  We believe one's attitude toward the Bible is found in submission to its authority, not in theological claims about it."
